Ref. : Your reply during question hour on Fake Universities related with us on 07-08-2001

With reference to the above mentioned subject we would like to bring the following facts for your kind perusal and informantion.

1. That you mentioned in the Parliament that National University of Electro Complex Homeopathy, Kanpur has been shifting its office from time to time and it is very difficult to locate its current address.

The aforesaid reply given in the Parliment is absolutely incorrect. Our University has its office located at 125/39 'K' Block, Govind Nagar, Kanpur since 1959 will be evident from the copies of the documents which are being annexed with this letter.

2. The first enquiry regarding National University was made in 1972. A copy of our reply to the said enquiry is being enclosed as Annexure (1).

3. National University of Electro Complex Homoeopathy was established by a resolution passed by Count Mattei Association on 28th December, 1920. A copy of the resolution is enclosed as Annexure (2). It may also be noted that U.G.C.Act was passed in 1956.

4.That regarding Universities established before 1950, there is a ruling passed by Supreme Court of India in a case styled Unni-Krishnan J.P.versus State of A.P.in 1993 in para 70. A copy of the same is enclosed as Annexure (3).

5. That in a Writ Petition styled as Flah-e-Insaniyet Trust vs. Union of India. U.G.C. and others filed in High Court Delhi regarding fake universities, the same was dismissed in our favour. A copy of the judgement is being enclosed as Annexure (4)..(3 more pages)
